Bottling is a key stage in bringing vegetable oil to market. At Sirius Investment we combine advanced technology with rigorous quality control, offering a bottling process that preserves the full properties of the product, guarantees freshness and ensures consumer safety. Our automated bottling lines handle every step from filling to labelling with surgical precision.
An advanced bottling process step by step
Each bottle goes through a series of precise operations:
1. Bottle preparation and sterilisation: PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles are thoroughly rinsed and disinfected with HEPA-filtered air, eliminating any microbiological or particulate contamination.
2. Precise filling: We use rotary filler machines with weight or volumetric technology that dose oil with an accuracy of ±0.5%. The process takes place in a controlled atmosphere, minimising contact with oxygen (Nitrogen Flushing technology), which extends product shelf life.
3. Capping and sealing: Automatic caps (twist-off, sport caps, droppers) are applied and tightened with precise torque, guaranteeing a perfect seal.
4. Inline quality control: Each bottle undergoes automatic inspection: detection of underfill/overfill, label position check, closure verification and visual control.
5. Labelling and packing: Bottles receive precisely applied sleeve or wrap-around labels and are then automatically arranged in heat-shrink film, cartons or onto pallets.
We combine production speed with German precision and Polish flexibility.
Zero manual handling – full automation
Oxidation protection (N₂ flushing)
Fast format changes (changeover in 30 min)
PET bottles are lightweight, silent, fully recyclable and excellently protect the product from light exposure (in coloured versions). Our portfolio includes PET in various weights and shapes – from classic round bottles to designer "panel" forms that fit the hand better and stand out on the shelf. We also offer the option of EVOH barrier layers, which significantly extend shelf life.
Our lines are adapted to bottle a wide capacity range: from small 250 ml bottles up to 10L canisters. Thanks to the modular design of the machines, switching from a 1L to 5L format takes only 30-45 minutes, which makes even short production runs economically viable. We also assist with packaging design and sourcing.
The entire process takes place in a class D hygienic zone. We hold HACCP and IFS Food certificates, and our procedures comply with BRCGS standards. Each batch is fully traceable (lot traceability system), and samples are archived for a defined period. We work exclusively with certified packaging suppliers that meet food contact requirements.
